Cognoir is a tool for thinkers.

Cognoir exists because most tools that summarise documents paraphrase them. In fields where the citation is part of the answer — Islamic scholarship, legal compliance, academic research — paraphrase is not enough. The citation needs to point to the exact passage, in the form a peer reviewer or a court will recognise.

Citations are claims.

Every answer Cognoir gives points to the passage it came from. You can verify each one in two clicks.

Your work is yours.

Workspaces are isolated. Documents are not used to train models — ours or anyone else's.

Cognoir is built by a small team focused on craft. The roadmap and changelog are public.
